About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Assistant to join our team at Ann House in Kendal. As a key member of our facilities team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our services and providing a safe and well-maintained environment for our service users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the maintenance and repair of buildings, equipment, and facilities to ensure they are safe and fit for purpose.
  • Conduct regular checks and audits to identify and address any faults or defects.
  • Liaise with contractors and suppliers to ensure timely and effective maintenance and repairs.
  • Assist in the coordination of maintenance schedules and tasks.
  • Provide support to the facilities team in maintaining a clean and safe environment.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a maintenance or facilities role.
  • Good DIY skills and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
