About the Role

Elysium Healthcare is seeking a skilled Maintenance Assistant to join our team at Ann House in Kendal. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the service's facilities are safe and well-maintained.

As a Maintenance Assistant, you will be responsible for conducting regular checks and maintenance tasks to identify and repair any faults. You will also work closely with our established team to ensure that all maintenance-related tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

We are looking for a candidate with good DIY skills and a strong attention to detail. You will be responsible for ensuring the safety of service users and staff, and for maintaining a high level of cleanliness and organization in the service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular checks and maintenance tasks to identify and repair any faults
  • Work closely with the maintenance team to ensure all maintenance-related tasks are completed efficiently and effectively
  • Ensure the safety of service users and staff
  • Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization in the service

Requirements:

  • Good DIY skills and a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and service users
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
