The Role

">

This role requires a skilled Cloud Systems Engineer who can work closely with cross-functional teams to evaluate existing systems and optimise performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency. The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to stay up-to-date with evolving cloud technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and implement infrastructure technologies
  • Provide 3rd Line technical support for the business
  • Deploy, manage, and respond to Infrastructure/Platform Monitoring alerts
  • Perform updates, patching, and other BAU tasks for server and networking infrastructure
  • Collaborate with another cloud systems engineer, the IT Security team, and external technical resources
  • Work closely with Cloud Systems Engineers and colleagues to deliver cost-effective solutions
  • Conduct technical evaluations of products within the infrastructure domain
  • Possess a broad knowledge of infrastructure disciplines, technologies, and best practices
  • Communicate effectively to understand and resolve technical issues clearly

Salary: £65,000 - £80,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
