At Entain, we are revolutionizing the sports betting and gaming industry by harnessing cutting-edge technology. As a Cloud Systems Architect Lead, you will play a crucial role in shaping our cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Review System Designs: You will lead the design of cloud systems to ensure high performance, security, scalability, maintainability, and reliability.
  • Support Architecture and Implementation: Collaborate with the team to implement infrastructure-as-code and policy-as-code objectives.
  • Automation Initiatives: Manage automation initiatives for cloud infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, self-service, infrastructure-as-code services, auto scale, and DevOps deployment.
  • Platform Operations: Maintain and operate platform components and tools according to a DevOps model, monitoring availability, latency, and overall system health.
  • Collaboration and Risk Management: Work closely with business stakeholders and product owners to scope and de-risk development activities.
  • Infrastructure Vulnerability Resolution: Identify, analyze, and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues.

We are seeking an experienced professional who can help us improve working processes within the cloud engineering area through data analysis and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements
  • Critical Skills: Expert knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly AWS, and experience with AWS best practices, including the well-architected framework.
  • Mandatory Skills: Proficient in written and oral English communication, seasoned communicator with technical and business knowledge of software development.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with the betting and gaming industry, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional, CKA or CKAD Certification.

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on your location and experience. Our benefits package includes a generous group bonus scheme, hybrid working arrangement, private medical insurance, pension scheme with 6% matching, and more.
