Mill Road Surgery is a forward-thinking practice located in the North of Sheffield, offering a unique opportunity for an experienced Salaried GP to join our team.

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to work as an autonomous practitioner, providing high-quality medical services to our patients. As a Salaried GP with Mill Road Surgery, you will have the opportunity to develop your clinical skills and experience while working collaboratively with our established nursing team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering excellent clinical care to our patients, adhering to GMC standards and contributing to the effective management of the practice. They will also participate in discussions around meeting local and national quality targets and assist in their implementation.

With a stable population of 5500 patients and consistently high QOF achievement, Mill Road Surgery offers a challenging and rewarding environment for our GPs. Our practice has a strong history of training and development, and we are keen to continue this commitment through our involvement in the Network DES contract.

We offer a competitive salary of £83,000 - £108,000 per annum, dependent on experience, plus benefits including a generous holiday allowance and opportunities for professional development. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide General Medical Services to patients registered with the surgery
  • Respond appropriately to medical problems presented by patients, including history taking, examination, investigation, diagnosis, treatment, and referral where necessary
  • Provide emergency cover for absent colleagues when required
  • Participate in discussions around meeting local and national quality targets and assist in their implementation
  • Contribute to the effective management of the practice, leading by example and maintaining a positive, collaborative working relationship with the multidisciplinary team
