Job Title: Agile Delivery Director

Join PayPoint Group as an Agile Delivery Director and lead our cross-functional engineering team to deliver and support our terminal platform and products using DevOps principles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver complex IT change and remove barriers to delivery to create an environment where the team can succeed.
  • Coach team members and facilitate continuous improvement, applying agile and DevOps techniques to maintain focus on delivering value against the product or transformation vision.
  • Accountable for the delivery practice, quality of team outputs, and providing quality estimates and forecasts at different stages of the delivery lifecycle.
  • Responsible for identifying changing capacity and skills requirements for their teams based on roadmaps and planning for those changes in advance.
  • Line management of all team members, including contract staff.
  • Assure the team regularly engages in continuous learning, and lessons are fed back into the team's working practices to ensure delivery team performance continually improves.
  • Provide management information on a regular basis to monitor performance against agreed targets and set budgets.
  • Effectively manage stakeholders at various levels, building strong working relationships with the delivery team's relevant Product Manager or business stakeholder.
Requirements:
  • Scrum Master Certified or relevant working knowledge.
  • Sufficient technical background to understand and challenge plans, design, and issues within technical projects.
  • At least 2 years experience leading a team to deliver successful IT change.
  • Proven experience balancing multiple priorities and dealing with ambiguity.
  • Change and release management experience in a cloud environment.
  • Experience of line managing and mentoring technical staff.
  • Experience in leading and coaching cross-functional teams.
  • Experience of senior stakeholder management.
  • Experience of creating an environment that encourages continuous learning, and a track record of creating high-performing and motivated teams.
