About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Severn Trent Services. As a key member of our Aqualytix business, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with our customers, identifying new business opportunities, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with customers to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, building on existing relationships and networks.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and partners.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to management.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement effective marketing strategies.
  • Prepare and present quotations and proposals to customers.
  • Meet and exceed business targets, including sales revenue and customer satisfaction.
  • Follow company processes and procedures to ensure compliance and quality standards.
  • Attend customer review meetings and manage account performance.
  • Assess and manage risk, ensuring the company's reputation and interests are protected.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in Legionella Control, with knowledge of ACOP L, HSG Parts - and HTM -.
  • Strong sales and marketing skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Valid driving license and ability to travel regularly.
