Supporting Student Success Lead

MidKent College is seeking a highly motivated Supporting Student Success Lead to join our Additional Learning Support Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with special educational needs or disabilities (SEND) to achieve their academic and personal goals.
Key Responsibilities:- Student Support Planning: Develop and implement individualized support plans for students with SEND, focusing on promoting independence and confidence-building skills.
- Collaboration with Curriculum Teams: Work closely with curriculum teams to identify student learning needs and develop strategies to support them in achieving their academic goals.
- Learner Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess and monitor student progress, making adjustments to support plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Staff Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities for staff members to enhance their knowledge and skills in supporting students with SEND.
- Inclusive Culture Promotion: Contribute to creating an inclusive culture at MidKent College by promoting awareness and understanding of SEND among staff and students.
A relevant degree, experience working with students with SEND, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.

Salary:£35,000 - £45,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
