Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Cloud Solutions Architect to lead our cloud infrastructure team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, delivering, and supporting Azure IaaS and PaaS based solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and Deliver Azure Solutions
    • Design and deliver Azure IaaS and PaaS based solutions
    • Coordinate digital security assessments for new products and services
    • Build and manage security rules in conjunction with digital security teams
    • Raise MOC's to amend security rules and help troubleshoot connectivity issues
    • Perform technology review of the architecture and suggest improvements
    • Build and size servers/VM's as required
    • Conduct UNITY assessments for new products and services
    • Coordinate penetration tests to assess vulnerabilities in new products and services
    • Coordinate rig server/ UniDAQ implementation with oil and gas service companies
    • Design and deliver Azure serverless solutions using Azure Functions, Azure Durable Functions, and messaging
    • Design and deliver Azure automation solutions using Azure PowerShell and Azure CLI
    • Design and deliver Azure DevOps build and release pipelines
    • Design and deliver Azure data storage solutions using BLOB storage, CosmosDB, and Azure NetApp Files
  • Lead and Manage the Team
    • Lead the cloud infrastructure team and guide them technically
    • Work closely with offshore teams and act as a communication medium between the client and offshore
  • Required Skills
    • Strong PowerShell coding skills
    • Source code management using Git-based workflows
    • Secret management using Key Vault in application deployments
    • Using the Azure Monitor toolset to deliver infrastructure monitoring and application observability solutions
    • Infrastructure as Code methods using tools such as ARM templates and Terraform
    • General networking skills with a focus on the Azure networking stack
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • A good understanding of the.NET ecosystem and some C# skills
    • Agile/SCRUM working methodologies using Azure Boards to manage backlog and tasks
    • Windows and basic Linux system administration skills
  • Preferred Skills
    • Oil and gas domain knowledge
    • Good knowledge of cloud, preferably AZ900 Azure Fundamentals qualified
    • Comfortable working with Microsoft Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
    • Agile delivery
