Production Engineering Technician

- Read and interpret engineering specifications, design drawings, operations manuals, and manufacturer's instructions.
- Attend to breakdowns on-site, ensuring rapid response to minimize plant equipment and machinery downtime.
- Carry out repairs to plant and equipment during production, effectively and efficiently either alone or as part of a team.
- Identify incorrect equipment operation and locate sources of error.
- Making running adjustments to parts of devices and control instruments to ensure correct function.
- Deliver on plant uptime and maintenance KPIs through planned, preventative, and predictive maintenance.
- Liaise effectively with external contractors.
The successful candidate must be a time-served maintenance technician with previous related industrial maintenance experience and hold a HNC or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
