Group Accounting Manager

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Group Accounting Manager to join our team at Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for providing financial leadership and guidance to our clients across various regions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the preparation of quarterly and annual lender covenant reporting, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Manage the technical aspects of year-end consolidation work, including multiple jurisdictions and currencies, disclosures, keynotes, statutory cash flow statement, impairment reviews, and SECR reporting.
- Collaborate with auditors to produce and review statutory financial statements, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Develop and maintain the integrity of Group reporting systems, including cost centres, chart of accounts, and month-end transaction refreshes.
- Oversee intercompany position reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in financial reporting, risk management, and compliance.
- Strong technical accounting skills, with knowledge of IFRS and FRS 102.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage a team of two.
- Ability to work under pressure, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
