About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Group Financial Accountant to join our team at Kerridge Commercial Systems. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review financial statements, including the group consolidation, to ensure technical accuracy and compliance with IFRS 15.
  • Manage the technical aspects of year-end consolidation work, including multiple jurisdictions and currencies, disclosures, key notes, and statutory cash flow statements.
  • Develop and implement processes to drive continuous improvement in financial accounting quality within the regions.
  • Prepare quarterly and annual lender covenant reporting.
  • Manage a team of two FTEs responsible for month-end and year-end accounting for group holding companies, maintenance of group reporting systems, and inter-company position reconciliations.
Requirements
  • Recognised professional accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
  • Audit or statutory reporting proficiency, with experience working for a UK top 10 accounting firm.
  • UK GAAP proficiency, with experience of multiple currency consolidation.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, with working knowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation.
