Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic SEN Support Assistant to join our team and support the early years education of children with SEND.

The successful candidate will work closely with the classroom teacher to provide tailored support to children with SEND, helping them to reach their full potential.

  • Assist in planning and delivering learning activities that cater to the needs of children with SEND.
  • Help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting social and emotional development through positive interactions and activities.
  • Collaborate with the SEND coordinator to implement individual education plans (IEPs) and ensure that all pupils receive the support they need.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children with SEND is highly desirable.
  • Relevant qualifications in early childhood education or SEND support are advantageous.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children with special needs are essential qualities for this role.
