SEN Teaching Role Tottenham Supporting Students with Special Needs

We are seeking a KS2 SEN Teacher to join our team at an inclusive SEN school in Tottenham. As a dedicated teacher, you will play a crucial role in creating a tailored learning environment that promotes academic and personal growth for students with special educational needs.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver individualized lessons that cater to the unique needs of each student, fostering engagement and development.
- Collaborate closely with SEN support staff, therapists, and other specialists to create comprehensive learning plans that address diverse learning challenges.
- Maintain a positive, structured classroom environment that encourages participation, creativity, and respect among students.
- Benefit from ongoing training and professional development opportunities focused on SEN strategies, equipping you with the latest approaches in inclusive education.
- Regularly monitor and assess student progress, maintaining clear communication with parents, SEN staff, and external professionals to ensure aligned and effective support.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in primary teaching, particularly within KS2; experience in SEN education is highly advantageous.
- An empathetic approach to teaching, along with excellent organizational skills, enabling you to adapt lessons to suit varied learning styles and developmental needs.
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, allowing you to build supportive relationships with students, parents, and fellow staff members.
- A commitment to inclusive education and a genuine passion for helping each student reach their potential within a positive, supportive learning environment.
- A current, clear Enhanced DBS check is essential to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all students.
