Teaching Assistant Opportunity:
Positive Futures Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to fill the position of Teaching Assistant in our specialist provision in Cranborne. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teaching staff to deliver a broad and balanced curriculum, focusing on the needs of students aged 16-25 with ASD and SEMH needs. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in a specialist education setting and develop your skills in supporting students with diverse needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Support teaching staff in delivering the curriculum
  • Build positive relationships with students, promoting their health, safety, and development
  • Implement positive behaviour management strategies
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to meet individual student needs

Requirements:
  • Full UK driving licence and access to your own car
  • Level 2 or equivalent in Maths and English
  • Minimum age requirement: 21 years old
  • Experience working in an education setting (desired)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
