Austin Fraser is seeking a Senior Planning Professional to join our team in the UK. As a key member of our consultancy, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional planning, design, and environmental services across the region.

The Role:

As a Senior Planning Professional, you will provide expert planning advice to clients and manage projects from start to finish. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Managing planning applications, appeals, and pre-application enquiries
  • Conducting research and preparing planning appraisals to assess site potential
  • Writing high-quality reports with clear recommendations
  • Leading client meetings and community engagement sessions
  • Overseeing projects, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with timelines and safety standards
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree or Master's in Town Planning or a related field (RTPI accredited)
  • At least two years of experience in a planning role, preferably within the public or private sector
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and project management skills
  • A strong understanding of the UK planning system and legislation
Salary:

We offer a competitive salary of £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
