Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Child Welfare Advocate to join our team at Tripod Executive. As a key member of our Children's Social Work department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support to vulnerable children and their families.

Your primary objective will be to ensure the smooth transition of care for young people, working closely with local authorities and external partners. This role requires a strong background in Children in Care, gained through experience in LAC, court teams, safeguarding services, or children's services.

You will be expected to demonstrate a deep understanding of the challenges faced by looked-after children and their families. Your expertise will be invaluable in developing effective pathway plans that cater to the unique needs of each individual.

  • Recognised Social Work qualification (degree/diploma)
  • Strong background in Children in Care with motivation for self-development
  • Previous experience in Children in Care settings
  • Ability to use evidence-based interventions to effect change
  • Social Work England Registration
  • Enhanced DBS Clearance

We offer a competitive salary of £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, along with a generous benefits package including relocation support, annual leave, pension scheme, and career development opportunities.
