About the Role
Our client, a reputable educational institution, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Assistant to join their Estates team. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the school's facilities are well-maintained, safe, and secure at all times.

**Responsibilities:**
* Conduct regular site inspections to identify maintenance needs and implement effective solutions.
* Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of the school's facilities, including the swimming pool, to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Collaborate with contractors to facilitate school setups and general running of the school day.
* Carry out general maintenance, repairs, painting, and decoration across the site, working efficiently to meet deadlines.
* Assist with the smooth running of external lettings and special school functions, ensuring minimal disruption to the school day.
* Provide support with car park management during busy periods and ensure the school site is safe, especially during adverse weather conditions.
