School Custodian

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced caretaker to join our team at Aspire Recruitment Careers, working in the Cheadle area with a focus on maintaining school facilities and ensuring a safe and healthy environment.

Compensation: £12.50 per hour

Job Duties:

• Maintain and improve school facilities to meet high standards.
• Attend to maintenance needs promptly and efficiently.
• Collaborate with staff to set up events and perform general repairs.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines and best practices.
• Manage the car park during peak hours, ensuring smooth operations.
• Foster relationships with external contractors to address any issues that may arise.

Required Skills and Experience:

• A minimum of maintenance experience is expected.
• In-depth knowledge of health and safety protocols is essential.
• Excellent communication and time management skills are crucial for success in this role.
• The ideal candidate should be physically fit and possess basic IT skills.
