Safety Communications Specialist

Lloyd's Register Foundation is seeking a skilled Engagement Manager to join our strategic communications team in London. This role will play a key part in sharing Lloyd's Register Foundation's mission, connecting our global community, and amplifying our social purpose.
As a dynamic and experienced professional, you will be responsible for effectively communicating the Foundation's story within Lloyd's Register, using various internal communication channels, town halls, client safety forums, and other key events. You will also embed our shared social purpose internally across the Foundation and LR through developing and sharing engaging and meaningful content. Additionally, you will amplify Foundation-generated content and messages across the LR colleague network globally.
The successful candidate will have significant experience in an engagement, interface, and/or internal communications role within a complex global communications function. They will also possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as a good understanding of the maritime sector. The ability to work in a matrix multi-site organisation is essential.

Your Key Responsibilities
- Effectively communicate the Foundation's story within Lloyd's Register using various internal communication channels
- Embed our shared social purpose internally across the Foundation and LR through developing and sharing engaging and meaningful content
- Amplify Foundation-generated content and messages across the LR colleague network globally
- Build relationships and work closely with LR's internal communication team to ensure messages are tailored, targeted, and planned appropriately
Key Skills and Qualifications
- Significant experience in an engagement, interface, and/or internal communications role within a complex global communications function
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good understanding of the maritime sector
- Ability to work in a matrix multi-site organisation
