Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Home Care Professional to join our team in the Newcastle Region.

As an experienced Aged Care Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support to elderly clients, including assistance with daily living activities, social support, and transportation. You will work closely with our team to ensure that each client receives the best possible care and support.

To be successful in this role, you will need a Certificate III in Aged Care/Individual Support or equivalent qualification in Nursing, as well as at least 3 years of experience working as a Home Care Worker with seniors. You will also require a valid Australian driver's licence and up-to-date Covid vaccinations.

Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide social support, such as companionship and conversation
  • Transport clients to appointments, friends' houses, and shopping centres
  • Assist with other activities of daily living, such as meal preparation and household tasks
