We are seeking an experienced and skilled Plant Control Systems Engineer to join our team at Elite Recruitment Solutions. This exciting opportunity is based in Peterborough and involves working with the Plant Operations team to ensure the smooth running of control systems within the clients' water-based units and plant-based equipment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the commissioning or final testing of newly built mobile water assets, as well as ensuring adherence to Quality standards at all times. Additionally, they will be responsible for PLC modifications and fault finding in the regeneration plant, for sites, and on our control systems for mobile water treatment equipment.

The ideal candidate will have a proven record of EHS and Quality awareness, experience working with Siemens and Allen Bradley PLC software, and a strong understanding of electrical installations. They will also be able to maintain accurate maintenance records, participate in training and team meetings, and suggest possible improvements.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the commissioning or final testing of newly built mobile water assets
  • Ensure adherence to Quality standards at all times
  • PLC modifications and fault finding in the regeneration plant, for sites, and on our control systems for mobile water treatment equipment
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records
  • Participate in training and team meetings and suggest possible improvements

Requirements:

  • Proven record of EHS and Quality awareness
  • Experience working with Siemens and Allen Bradley PLC software
  • Strong understanding of electrical installations
  • NVQ3 in electrical-based units
  • City And Guilds Level 3 in electrical installations or equivalent
  • Drawing software training or experience
  • Experience of project management
  • Passport to safety or equivalent
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Office packages
