Job Description:

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team in Tiverton, providing expert HR advice and support. As an HR Advisor, you will be responsible for handling employee and manager queries, drafting critical HR documents, and assisting in the creation and updating of HR policies and procedures.

Salary:

The salary for this position is estimated to be around £35,000 per annum, based on industry standards and location.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need a minimum CIPD Level 5 qualification, good knowledge of HR best practices and employment law, and exceptional organisational skills. You should also possess effective communication skills, ability to clearly communicate HR matters to all levels of the organisation, and willingness to work closely with the HR team.

Key Responsibilities:

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Handling employee and manager queries, providing timely and accurate HR advice
  • Drafting critical HR documents such as disciplinary letters, contracts, and other employment-related correspondence
  • Assisting in the creation and updating of HR policies and procedures to align with best practices and legal standards
  • Providing expert HR advice on performance management, absence management, employee engagement, and discipline to help managers address employment issues proactively

We are looking for someone who can remain composed when managing sensitive ER cases and under tight deadlines, prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, and maintain seamless HR service delivery.
