Rail Ecological Specialist Role

We are seeking an experienced Rail Ecological Specialist to join our team in Birmingham. As a key member of our environmental consultancy, you will be responsible for leading ecological projects across the rail infrastructure sector.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage a diverse range of ecological projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  2. Conduct site surveys and assessments for rail and large infrastructure projects.
  3. Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders, providing expert advice and guidance.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience working within a consultancy environment.
  • Strong knowledge of UK wildlife legislation and policy.
  • Proven track record of writing technical reports and ESPM licence documents.
Estimated Salary Range: £45,000-£60,000.
