Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Enterprise Resilience Office as an AVP, Enterprise Resiliency Office. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and leading State Street's implementation of its Global Resilience Program, ensuring the company's ability to prevent, respond to, and recover from operational disruptions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with business units to implement the Global Resilience Programme, ensuring global consistency and regional differences as required.
  • Assess regulatory requirements for Critical Business Services and entities, identifying gaps and proposing necessary actions or mitigations.
  • Lead and manage the resiliency programme evolution, applying knowledge of business unit operations and leveraging standards to drive practical application.
  • Implement and support business units in executing the repeatable framework of cyclical resilience activities to meet strategic and regulatory requirements.
  • Support the development of the Global Operational Resilience Horizon Scanning programme.
  • Oversee the integration of IT Resiliency, Business Continuity, Internal Outsourcing, and Vendor Management programmes to ensure understanding of resiliency capabilities and identify gaps.
  • Provide programme oversight to ensure business partner and control function understanding and effective execution of program standards.
  • Facilitate workshops and provide expertise/experience as a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
  • Project lead and actively participate in wider State Street projects related to operational resilience.
  • Present to boards, produce documents for board reporting, and engage with Global EVPs and local SMFs.
  • Promote a culture of operational resiliency awareness and appropriate governance.
  • Deputise for manager when required, including on client interactions.
