Job Title: Class 2 HGV Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Class 2 HGV driver to join our team in Leicester. As a Class 2 HGV driver, you will be responsible for operating a Class 2 HGV vehicle to transport waste materials to various locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the vehicle and plant are safe to operate and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Operate the vehicle to achieve maximum efficiency and comply with all relevant legislation, including drivers' hours and highway regulations.
  • Ensure vehicle security, including equipment and plant, and maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance and driver hours.
  • Care for the well-being of yourself and others, and ensure the vehicle and cab are kept clean and tidy.
Requirements:
  • Class 2 LGV driving licence
  • Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
  • Professional and organized approach, with good time management and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and display initiative, with a self-motivated and flexible attitude.
