Job Title: DriverJob Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Driver to join our team in Leicester. As a Driver, you will be responsible for operating a Class 2 HGV vehicle to collect and transport waste materials to our recycling facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the safe operation of the vehicle and plant equipment
  • Operate the vehicle to achieve maximum efficiency and productivity
  • Comply with all relevant legislation, including drivers' hours and highway regulations
  • Maintain the security of the vehicle and its contents
  • Keep accurate records of vehicle maintenance and driver hours
  • Ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others
Requirements
  • Class 2 LGV driving licence
  • Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
  • Professional and organised approach to work
  • Good time management and ability to work under pressure
  • Effective communication skills
  • Displays initiative and self-motivation
  • Flexible and committed to meeting deadlines
