At A+E Networks EMEA, we're seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Architect to lead our Media Operations team in designing and implementing cutting-edge cloud solutions.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cloud computing, with a proven track record of delivering scalable, secure, and efficient media technology solutions. You'll be responsible for promoting technological advancements, mentoring and guiding the team, and collaborating with external vendors to ensure seamless integration of third-party solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement cloud-based media operations infrastructure, including AWS Cloud Formation templates and SDVI Rally.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain cloud-based applications, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability.
  • Develop and enforce cloud security best practices, adhering to AWS security principles and permissions.
  • Provide expert-level technical guidance and support to the team, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement service improvement plans, driving continuous innovation and growth within the team.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop tailored solutions that meet their needs.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and generous paid time off.

Requirements:

  • Proven expertise in cloud computing, specifically AWS, with a strong understanding of cloud security, architecture, and deployment.
  • Extensive experience in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and efficient media technology solutions.
  • Strong leadership and mentorship skills, with the ability to guide and motivate a team of engineers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
