Theatre Technician Patient Care Assistant Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Theatre Technician Patient Care Assistant to join our team at CVS Group Plc.

About the Role

This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week on a rota basis, with a 6-month fixed-term contract. As a Theatre Technician Patient Care Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting in preparing patients for theatre, clipping and surgical prep, running the theatre, setting up, preparing equipment and instruments ready for surgery and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing patients for theatre, including clipping and surgical prep
  • Run the theatre, setting up, preparing equipment and instruments ready for surgery and procedures
  • Work with the labs and ultrasound teams to ensure seamless patient care
  • Contribute to infection control in the wards

Requirements

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated individual who is keen to learn and has previous experience working in a busy theatre environment, either in the human or veterinary medicine industry. You will be required to work 1:4 weekends on wards with the inpatients.
