Education Support Assistant

U-Educate is currently seeking an Education Support Assistant to work with schools in the Sutton Coldfield area. As a valued member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with both primary and secondary schools, providing support and assistance to students and teachers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise students on a 1:1 or small group basis
  • Provide additional learning support as identified
  • Engage, motivate and encourage students to complete work set
  • Ensure students are focused and on track to meet lesson objectives
  • Support the class teacher to manage classroom behaviour
  • Provide feedback to the classroom teacher on student's progress and development

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a teaching assistant
  • Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification
  • Ability to pass an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check to work with children
  • Up to date Safeguarding Training (U-Educate offers free training for those without a current certificate)
