Teaching Assistant Opportunity in Sutton Coldfield

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team at a primary school in Sutton Coldfield. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the main class teacher and providing individualized support to pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide 1:1 support and small group interventions for pupils with SEN requirements
  • Assist the main class teacher in lesson preparation and tailor learning materials to individual learners
  • Support pupil progress reports and liaise with outside agencies when required
  • Assist with pupil assessments and provide feedback to the class teacher
Requirements:
  • A minimum of Level 2 or Level 3 qualification
  • Previous SEN experience and strong resilience and patience
  • Previous experience working with children with SEMH, Autism, and sensory impairments
