Senior Financial Accountant

Vitae Financial Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Accountant to join their team on a contract basis until summer 2025. As a Senior Financial Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Senior Management Team and ensuring statutory reporting requirements for the group are met.
Main Responsibilities:- Planning, coordination, and oversight of the statutory close, including Statutory accounts production
- Consolidation of companies' results for Group results
- IFRS 16 accounting
- Planning, coordination of delivery of all elements and management of the Audit to a 3-month completion
- Quarterly VAT reporting and submissions
- Qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) with 3 year+ post-qualified experience ideally in a similar role
- Experience in Statutory accounts production and audit coordination
- Strong core finance accounting skills, particularly in management, Statutory accounts production, and disclosures, and consolidations
- Working Tax knowledge
- Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of building sustainable relationships
- Positive and proactive attitude, self-starter, and team player
