Senior Financial Accountant

Vitae Financial Recruitment Limited is seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Accountant to join their team on a contract basis until summer 2025. As a key member of the Senior Management Team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring statutory reporting requirements for the group are met.
Main Responsibilities:- Plan, coordinate, and oversee the statutory close, including statutory accounts production and consolidation of companies results for Group results.
- Coordinate the delivery of all elements and manage the Audit to a 3-month completion.
- Prepare and submit Quarterly VAT reports.
- Oversight of management accounting for the smaller trading company.
- Qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) with 3+ years of post-qualified experience, ideally in a similar role.
- Experience in statutory accounts production and audit coordination.
- Strong core finance accounting skills, particularly in management, statutory accounts production, and disclosures, and consolidations.
- Working tax knowledge.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of building sustainable relationships.
- Positive and proactive attitude, self-starter, and team player.
