Senior Financial Accountant

Vitae Financial Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Accountant to join our client's team on a contract basis until summer 2025. This is a hybrid role with 2-3 days expected in the office.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan, coordinate, and oversee the statutory close, including statutory accounts production.
- Consolidate company results for group results.
- Implement IFRS 16 accounting.
- Coordinate the delivery of all elements and manage the audit to a 3-month completion.
- Prepare quarterly VAT reporting and submissions.
- Oversight of management accounting for the smaller trading company.
- Qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) with 3+ years of post-qualified experience, ideally in a similar role.
- Experience in statutory accounts production and audit coordination.
- Strong core finance accounting skills, particularly in management, statutory accounts production, and disclosures, and consolidations.
- Working tax knowledge.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of building sustainable relationships.
- Positive and proactive attitude, self-starter, and team player.
