Job Description

Reed Accountancy is seeking a highly skilled Global Foundation Accountant to join their team and support the organization's financial operations across multiple countries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reporting: Conduct regular reconciliations, including bank reconciliations, to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  • Membership Invoicing: Handle Foundation membership invoicing and related queries, ensuring timely and efficient processing.
  • Financial System Management: Update ZOHO to reflect invoiced/paid amounts in line with the finance system, maintaining accurate records and ensuring data consistency.
  • Webshop Income Management: Manage webshop income, reconciling payments, and raising receipts/invoices as necessary, ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
  • Grant Management: Process retention invoices in line with grant periods and maintain the purchase ledger, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Financial Compliance: Ensure month-end books are reconciled within the agreed timetable, maintaining compliance with statutory financial requirements.
  • Financial Analysis: Prepare member grant reports and statements for quarterly Board approval and issuance, delivering internal financial reports, including periodic profit and loss and retention reports.
  • Financial Planning: Participate in strategic planning for existing and future Foundation growth, facilitating financial statements for in-country regulations and ensuring filing deadlines are met.
Requirements:
  • Accounting Qualification: Accountant qualification, with charity experience preferred.
  • Attention to Detail: Detail-oriented with a strong interest in the charity sector worldwide.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with CRM systems, exceptionally self-motivated, and able to quickly adapt to new tasks.
  • Communication Skills: Strong organisational and communication skills, able to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
  • Time Management: Capable of prioritising workloads to meet deadlines consistently, comfortable working with a global team and engaging in occasional out-of-hours communication.
