- Retention Invoicing: Process retention invoices in line with grant periods and maintain the purchase ledger to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare member grant reports and statements for quarterly Board approval and issuance, as well as deliver internal financial reports, including periodic profit and loss and retention reports.
- Compliance and Governance: Ensure compliance with statutory financial requirements, liaising with external parties as needed, and resolve finance and accounting queries from internal teams, suppliers, and customers.
- Grant Reconciliation: Undertake grant reconciliations to the in-house CRM system and update it accordingly to maintain accurate financial records.
- Financial Statements: Facilitate financial statements for in-country regulations and ensure filing deadlines are met, maintaining the organization's financial compliance.
- Strategic Planning: Participate in strategic planning for existing and future Foundation growth, providing financial expertise and guidance.
- Accounting Qualification: Accountant qualification, with charity experience preferred.
- Attention to Detail: Detail-oriented with a strong interest in the charity sector worldwide.
- Technical Skills: Experience with CRM systems and a strong understanding of financial software and systems.
- Self-Motivation: Exceptionally self-motivated and able to quickly adapt to new tasks and responsibilities.
- Communication Skills: Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- Time Management: Capable of prioritising workloads to meet deadlines consistently and comfortably working with a global team.
