We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our ENT team at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients with head and neck cancer.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and lead nurse-led services and clinical pathways in ENT
- Work closely with consultants and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement new procedures and protocols
- Support patients with suspected cancer through the 2-week wait process
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with local trusts and departments
- Contribute to the development of new nurse-led services and pathways within ENT
- Registered Nurse with a strong background in ENT or head and neck cancer care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Knowledge of national policy and current issues affecting management and treatment for patients with head and neck cancer
