Apheresis Specialist Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Apheresis Specialist Nurse to join our team at the Anthony Nolan Cell Collection Centre, hosted by the Clinical Research Facility at Queen's Medical Centre in Nottingham.
As an Apheresis Specialist Nurse, you will work closely with the Apheresis Nurse Manager and the CCC Lead Nurse to provide all aspects of clinical care for patients and stem cell donors. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing specialist apheresis procedures under the guidance of the Apheresis Nurse Manager.
- Ensuring the provision of excellent, evidence-based nursing care for donors/patients.
- Managing peripheral venous catheters, central venous catheters, venepuncture, cannulation, intravenous drug administration, apheresis, and blood product administration in accordance with clinical practice guidelines.
You will be a competent and knowledgeable practitioner within the speciality, with a strong focus on patient safety and well-being. If you are a registered nurse with experience in apheresis practices and procedures, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
Key Requirements:
- First-level registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC).
