Apheresis Specialist Nurse

We are seeking an experienced Apheresis Specialist Nurse to join our team at the Anthony Nolan Cell Collection Centre, hosted by the Clinical Research Facility at Queen's Medical Centre in Nottingham.
About the RoleAs an Apheresis Specialist Nurse, you will work closely with the Apheresis Nurse Manager and the CCC Lead Nurse to provide all aspects of clinical care for patients and stem cell donors. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing specialist apheresis procedures under the guidance of the Apheresis Nurse Manager.
- Ensuring the provision of excellent, evidence-based nursing care for donors/patients.
- Being competent in the care and management of peripheral venous catheters, central venous catheters, venepuncture, cannulation, intravenous drug administration, apheresis and blood product administration in accordance with clinical practice guidelines.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- First-level registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC).
- Post-registration clinical experience in apheresis practices and procedures.
