About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Contract Coordinator to join our team in Wrexham. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing installation design bills of quantity and creating sourcing trackers with lists of items to procure, including cables, accessories, and hire equipment both internally and externally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the purchase-to-pay process for the HV projects business, including the raising of purchase requisitions, B2B requisitions, and call-off orders.
  • Manage the approval of invoices through the goods receipting process, including seeking approval from the project team and recording goods receipts within the GR tracker for each project.
  • Act as the central point of contact for all invoice queries and distribute to the relevant end-user if unable to resolve.
  • Monitor and manage purchase order coverage, highlighting to the Contract Manager and Project Manager any purchase order coverage likely to be exceeded.
  • Seek quotations for goods and services as requested by the project teams and actively negotiate to reduce the overall cost to the business.
  • Raise non-conformance reports.
  • Assign suitable project engineers to each job, ensuring holiday periods are covered and liaising across departments when support is required.
  • Attend coordination meetings with clients to discuss progress, issues, and queries.
  • Collate and analyze data for the monthly finance review/forecast document, assigning costs to appropriate categories.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a similar position within a manufacturing, civils, or power environment is beneficial.
  • Proven commercial acumen.
  • Possess strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Hold excellent analytical skills.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience of SAP (preferred, but not essential).
