Job Title: Community Care Staff

Proud to Care Devon is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Caregiver Role. This opportunity is perfect for someone who wants to make a positive impact in the lives of others.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to clients in their own homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life. This varied role includes personal care, food preparation and serving, prompting nutrition and hydration, light household duties, and enablement visits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Personal Care: Provide assistance with daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, and toileting.
  • Food Preparation and Serving: Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for clients.
  • Prompting Nutrition and Hydration: Encourage clients to eat and drink regularly to maintain their health and well-being.
  • Light Household Duties: Assist with household chores such as cleaning, laundry, and ironing.
  • Enablement Visits: Support clients to engage in activities they enjoy, promoting social interaction and mental stimulation.

Requirements:

  • Must have own transport
  • Enhanced DBS required
  • Uniform provided
  • Pension provided
  • Mileage @65p from first client

We offer a competitive salary of £25,500 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience, and a comprehensive training program to ensure you have the skills and confidence to excel in this role.
