XPS Pensions is a leading UK consulting and administration business specialising in the pensions and insurance sectors.

This role presents an exciting opportunity to join our vibrant office with hybrid working, where you will have the chance to work on end-to-end payroll processes and manage a portfolio of clients.

The Role

  • Manage and run end-to-end payroll processes.
  • Take responsibility for completing payroll processes relating to data entry tasks and activities while working effectively in a team.
  • Gather data and information from various sources and carry out a range of data entry and basic analysis activities.
  • Carry out standard and non-standard payroll tasks and activities autonomously in a timely manner.
  • Communicate clearly with Pension Administration team members, including routine interactions regarding payroll and pensioner queries.
  • Support senior colleagues regarding ongoing payroll projects and specific business development activities.
  • Support the team with new staff members and provide training to less experienced team members, checking and validating their work to ensure accuracy.

Essential Criteria

  • Previous experience in running end-to-end payroll processing a portfolio of clients or large volume.
  • Strong Maths and English GCSE or equivalent qualification - minimum grade C or level 4.
