Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our operating department as an Operating Theatre Support Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is eager to learn and develop their skills in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the theatre team within the circulating role and contributing to the smooth running of the theatre environment. We offer a range of specialties, including general, urology, and gynaecology, where you will become a valued member of our team.

As a key member of our team, you will receive full training and support from your peers, senior staff, and the multidisciplinary team. Your drive and enthusiasm will enable you to quickly adapt to this dynamic role and contribute to our vision of providing exceptional patient care.

This Band 2 development role offers the opportunity to progress to Band 3 within 12 months if specific criteria are achieved and supported by your line manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the theatre team within the circulating role
  • Contributing to the daily running of the theatre environment
  • Developing your skills and knowledge in theatre practice
