Credit Risk Strategy Analyst

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Risk Strategy Analyst to join our team at Uncapped. As a key member of our credit risk management team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining credit strategies across the customer lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain credit strategies to optimize customer profitability and minimize risk.
- Collaborate with data engineers and product teams to automate credit decisioning and improve data quality.
- Work closely with commercial teams to ensure credit risk requirements are considered in new product development and channel expansion.
- Model customer profitability to inform pricing strategies and optimize revenue growth.
- Design and implement tracking systems to monitor business performance and identify emerging risks.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience in credit strategy and leading analytical functions for volume credit products.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and one of the following programming languages: R, SAS, Python, SQL.
- Educated to a degree level or above in Statistics, Mathematics, or Econometrics.
- Deep understanding of the full credit lifecycle and commercial awareness.
- Exceptional analytical skills and ability to think from first principles.
- Strong communication skills and experience delivering insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
