Credit Risk Strategy Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Risk Strategy Analyst to join our team at Uncapped. As a key member of our credit risk function, you will be responsible for developing and implementing credit risk strategies that balance customer growth targets with credit risk while optimising profitability.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain credit strategies across the customer lifecycle, working closely with data engineers and product teams to automate credit decisioning.
- Collaborate with commercial teams to ensure credit risk requirements are considered while building new propositions and introducing new channels/segments.
- Model customer profitability to optimise pricing strategies and build and improve tracking of business performance to enable identification and monitoring of current and emerging risks.
- Experience in a credit strategy setting and leading a key analytical function for volume credit products such as Credit Cards, Consumer Loans, and micro SME lending.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and one of the following programming languages: R, SAS, Python, SQL.
- Educated to a degree level or above in Statistics / Mathematics / Econometrics.
- A deep understanding of the full credit lifecycle combined with a very high level of commercial awareness.
