Therapeutic Support Specialist Position

Copper Fields School, a specialist school in Gunnislake, Cornwall, is looking for a talented Therapeutic Support Specialist. The ideal candidate will have a recognised Speech Therapist degree, valid HCPC registration, and experience working with Children and Young People.

The role involves implementing a holistic, therapeutic approach to helping our pupils, ensuring they are safe, comfortable, and healthy. This includes undertaking assessments and interventions, preparing relevant documentation, and providing information and training to staff, commissioners, and other agencies.

Our Clinical Teams support our services to maintain a nurturing and loving environment where our pupils can flourish. All our settings maintain a strong safeguarding culture, and our pupils are heard, respected, and involved in decisions that affect them wherever possible.

This is a great opportunity to develop your specialism in working with autistic children and young people, including those who have experienced trauma. Our Clinical Locality Lead, Kate Boot, would be happy to discuss this role further.
