About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Haematology team as a Haemostasis Clinical Fellow. The post is designed for existing Haematology trainees who want to gain additional training in Haemostasis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work within the adult Haemostasis/Liaison Team
  • Attend benign Haematology clinics, including general and subspecialty clinics
  • Respond to GP queries through the electronic advice and guidance system
  • Provide mentorship for the Haemostasis SpR who rotates on a four monthly basis
  • Work closely with our Benign Haematology nursing and administration team to facilitate high-quality care for our patients

Requirements
  • 4 years or more full-time postgraduate experience in an adult general medicine specialty relevant to Haematology
  • Experience working in Haematology
  • Good working relationships with colleagues
  • Good relationships and communication with patients
  • Evidence of achievement of Foundation competencies by time of appointment in line with GMC standards/Good Medical Practice
