Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a Haemostasis Clinical Fellow to join our team at University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust (UHBW). The post is aimed at existing Haematology trainees who wish to gain additional training in Haemostasis.

The successful candidate will work within the adult Haemostasis/Liaison Team and attend benign Haematology clinics, including general and subspecialty clinics. They will also be involved in responding to GP queries through the electronic advice and guidance system and provide mentorship for the Haemostasis SpR who rotates on a four monthly basis.

We are looking for a candidate with 4 years or more of full-time postgraduate experience, at least 2 years of which has been in an adult general medicine specialty relevant to Haematology. The ideal candidate will have a good working relationship with colleagues, good relationships and communication with patients, and evidence of achievement of Foundation competencies by the time of appointment.

Main Duties of the Job

The post holder will be required to work closely with our Benign Haematology nursing and administration team to facilitate high-quality care for our patients. There is also an opportunity to gain further training in Paediatric Haemostasis.
