About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Desktop Support Specialist to join our team at HCLTech. As a Desktop Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our employees, ensuring that their computer systems and software are functioning properly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide hardware and software support to employees, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
  • Install and configure computer systems, software, and peripherals, ensuring that they meet the company's standards and guidelines.
  • Assist employees with the installation and configuration of new software and applications.
  • Perform root cause analysis to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Work on value-added activities such as knowledge base updates and management, training freshers, and coaching analysts.
  • Ensure positive customer experience and CSAT through First Call Resolution and minimum rejected resolutions or Reopen Cases.
Requirements
  • 2-6 years of relevant work experience in desktop support.
  • Excellent knowledge of remote desktop support and Windows 10.
  • Ability to analyze and resolve technical issues over the phone.
  • Good knowledge of software distribution tools, Active Directory, MS Exchange, SCCM Client, Dell Command Center, MS Office Suite 2016/365, One Drive, Apple/Android Mobile devices, and ITSM ticketing tools such as Remedy, HP Service Center, and Peregrine Service Center.
