Second Line Desktop Engineer

About the Role

The Charalle Group is seeking an experienced IT Desktop Support Engineer to join our IT Support Team. As a key member of our team, you will provide 2nd line support to our business operations teams, ensuring our IT systems, infrastructure, and applications operate smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for virtual desktop environments (Citrix), including troubleshooting and assistance with dormant sessions and connectivity issues.
  • Configure and manage Azure Active Directory, including user setup, group policies, and permissions.
  • Deploy and manage InTune iOS devices through Company Portal.
  • Implement InTune AutoPilot deployment for HP laptops running Windows 10.
  • Support networking, including patch cables and VPN connectivity.
  • Provide printer hardware support and troubleshoot hardware/PC issues.
  • Configure and manage Windows Server, including file permissions and new account setup.

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with previous experience in IT Desktop Support. You may have experience at 2nd line or have completed 'first time fix' at first line, ready to step into your first second line role. Experience in the legal sector is an advantage, but we will also consider candidates from other professional services sectors.
